Train Riding Hato Verde - Cotopaxi National Park

Train Trip Quito - Cotopaxi National Park / El Boliche (only Saturday and Sunday)

Early morning departure to Tambillo train station. The train leaves at 8:00 a.m. to the Cotopaxi National Park - Boliche Station. During the journey you will enjoy the fabulous Sierra landscapes and some small stops the train makes. Around 11:30 you arrive at the Boliche Station. Animals such as llamas, rabbits, deer, different types of birds as well as different types of pines, mushrooms, "chuquiraguas", etc. are found in the Cotopaxi National Park. If the sky is clear, you will be able to admire the impressive Cotopaxi volcano (19.600 ft. above sea level).

Later on, at the park we visit the interpretation center and Limpiopungo Lake drive up to 15000 ft. and trek up to Padre Rivas mountain climbing refuge (1 hour ½). Stop for box lunch, walk to the glaciers.

Later back to the Hacienda for a homemade dinner.
